Rosser Avenue House is a full home renovation in Burnaby, designed to trade a chopped up plan
for a calmer, more connected daily flow.

The layout was reworked from the inside out, with load-bearing walls removed to open the main level into one continuous kitchen and living space.

Structural work and permits were part of the process from day one, so the new openness feels effortless, not improvised. Downstairs, the basement was transformed into a fully legal suite, giving the home a second rhythm: privacy, independence, and flexibility for guests, family, or rental.

The interior direction stayed grounded and tactile. Warm wood tones against clean whites, matte black hardware, tile and stone finishes with a soft, natural feel, and lighting that layers warmth into the new plan. Behind the scenes, electrical and plumbing were upgraded throughout so the home functions as smoothly as it looks.
